    What You Will Do

    • Be responsible for using code to ensure that the requirements of a project are adhered to.
    • Leverage OOP concepts (C#/Java) to achieve quality goals
    • Should be very familiar and comfortable working with frameworks for testing both front-end and back-end code, such as Selenium, and CodedUI, NUnit etc.
    • Serve as the SME around testing for your projects, and will be looked to for guidance and best practices around automated testing.
    • Should have excellent knowledge around unit tests, functional tests, integration tests, and should know the difference between each.
    • Write tests for APIs, so knowing how to mock requests with JSON payloads accurately will be important.
    • Need to be flexible and pragmatic about your approach to testing, understanding that some features require significantly more tests than others based on the inherent risks of each.
    • High probability to be heavily involved in writing test cases and/or acceptance criteria for user stories, focusing on testability of the requests especially from a user's perspective.
    • Also likely to be involved in the identification/debugging of issues, and addressing them as necessary.
    • Typical work will be with a .NET/Angular.js stack, though you may also encounter some Node.js or PHP projects as well.

    Skills and Experience You Will Need

    Required Skills: 

    • 5-10 years of experience in QA (testing domain)
    • Experience in modern automation testing frameworks.

    • Experience with OOP in a development environment (C# or Java -- C# preferred)
    • Experience with: Selenium, NUnit, SoapUI, and CodedUI

    • Ability to translate business requirements into testable scenarios

    • Strong organization skills

    • Comprehension of different types of tests and when/where to use them.

    • Experience working in an Agile environment

    • Passion for automation

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
