    What You Will Do

    • Provides oversight, planning, and strategic guidance to ensure successful delivery of software projects
    • Facilitate and oversee Scrum Team events and assist teams in delivering value.
    • Communicate with all stakeholders to escalate impediments, assist in risk management, and drive continuous improvement.
    • Work closely with client leadership (business and technical) to ensure team is operating in an efficient and sustainable manner
    • Work directly with business users to refine requirements and plan software releases
    • Ensures software developed is held to GalaxE and client quality standards through appropriate review and approval cycles
    • Participates in the analysis, planning, coordination and oversight of software release (scheduling tasks, deadlines, and milestones for all stakeholders)
    • Understand the business needs of the client and provide quality customer support by using appropriate communication, anticipating customer needs and/or issues, and understanding the broad impact of change on all customer processes.
    • Establish, refine and manage internal processes and metrics to support project completion including successful software development, model development and technically related business projects
    • Responsible for managing project life cycle and release management process for Production and Pre-production

    • Responsible for adoption and implementation of continuous integration and delivery practices

    Skills and Experience You Will Need

    Required Skills:

    • 15+ years of experience in the software development field
    • 10+ years of experience leading software projects
    • People management experience, with the ability to successfully interact with all levels of an organization
    • Experience with Agile management tools
    • Advanced written and verbal communication skills
    • Experience managing and delivering AWS and DevOps projects
    • Experience with container-based software deployment and management (RedHat OpenShift and Docker)
    • Significant experience with CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery)
    • Experience in automating build processes, application deployments and continuous integrations of existing systems
