    What You Will Do

    • Adopts a comprehensive understanding of GalaxE’s business, policies and procedures with close attention to interactions with employees, management, recruiting, and Human Resources.
    • Assists with ongoing immigration projects and issues, including preparation, review, and filing of H1B Visas, L Visas, and employment based Green Card processing.
    • Partners with outside counsel.
    • Assists with responding to RFEs.
    • Monitors deadlines, individual and CAP season, to ensure timely response, so that employees are not out of status.
    • Assists with related processes and procedures to support the company’s immigration and compliance.
    • Supports and delivers training with respect to immigration practices and requirements.
    • Collaborates and works with other departments, management, and senior leadership to address and resolve legal matters.
    • Participates in weekly conference calls with outside counsel.
    • Assists in developing best practices.
    • May provide support during DHS site visits.
    • Tracks filings and responses; updates necessary databases.
    • Supports invoice reconciliation and monitoring of fees related to employee’s individual filings.
    • May conduct research on legal matters impacting the Company, including state and federal statutes and regulations.
    • Miscellaneous legal and administrative projects as needed.

    Skills and Experience You Will Need

    • Good writing and communication skills
    • The ability to prioritize and work under a tight schedule
    • Basic computer skills
    • In depth knowledge of legal terminology and principles
    • The ability to analyze legal documents for accuracy
    • Very good written and oral communication skills.
    • Understanding of MS Office-Word, Excel and Outlook.
    • Able to create documents/reports/processes appropriate to the needs of the recipient.
    • Ability to use initiative.
    • Precise attention to detail.
    • Ability to follow and control processes accurately.
    • Knowledge of computer databases and applications.
    • Be able to demonstrate organization ability, prioritizing work load.
