    What You Will Do

    • Maintain current Telephony systems including, but not limited to, Avaya/VHT/Genesys IVR/Genesys WFM/AVST/Callcopy
    • Identify technical issues and risks and advocate alternative solutions
    • Download firmware, patches and upgrades to cards and equipment
    • Install and implement gateways, circuit cards, T-1s, SIP Trunks, etc.
    • Produce and analyze traffic reports to show use of disc space, port usage, channels and busy hours, and recommend any changes
    • Produce and maintain technical documentation on telecom processes
    • Regularly consult and interact with non-technical team members
    • Troubleshoot complex trunking and communication issues

    Skills and Experience You Will Need

    Required:

    • Extensive hands-on experience with Avaya Aura Communication Manager
    • Knowledge of several facets of contact center technologies, including ACD Reporting administration, call routing, IVRs and computer telephony integration (CTI)
    • Knowledge of DHCP/TFTP
    • Knowledge of System/Session Manager servers
    • Knowledge of the implementation and support of Oracle Session Border Controllers
    • Knowledge of Avaya Application Enablement Services
    • Strong experience with voice telephony and networking technologies used by network providers (DS-3, ISDN and SIP)
    • Knowledge of system monitoring and maintenance tools such as SCOM, GroundWork, Empirix and Acme Palladium
    • Possess a basic working knowledge of Microsoft & Linux servers and administration
    • Possess analytical and creative thinking skills, as well as an extremely client-focused mindset
    • Excellent time management, communication and interpersonal skills
    • Must participate in an on-call rotation

    Desired:

    • Three years of hands-on experience with SIP technologies, including session border controllers and Avaya Session Manager
    • Three years of hands-on experience with contact center technologies, including IVRs, speech analytics, workforce management solutions and CRM platforms
    • Experience with building HA solutions & doing failover testing
