    What You Will Do

    • As a junior network support administrator you’ll be responsible for maintaining the GalaxE Network infrastructure including Cisco Routers, switches, Barracuda WebFilter, FireEye, ASA / Juniper firewalls/ servers that allows organizations to function and communicate, both internally and externally on a daily basis.
    • Regardless of the type of business, as a network support administrator you'll be responsible for designing, installing and maintaining the network devices, logs monitoring and remediation.
    • Work with Network Engineers to evaluate new technology and network processes
    • Assist Network Engineers with technology implementation/integration
    • Monitor and report on network health and performance with performance-monitoring tools
    • Support firewalls and switches under supervision from Network Engineers
    • Configure switch ports for required VLANs and protocols

    Skills and Experience You Will Need

    Required Skills:

    • Ability to work with others to identify risks and find solutions to meet business needs
    • Experience configuring and troubleshooting switch ports
    • Knowledge of routing, switching, VLAN Protocols and network segmentation
    • 1 to 2 Years experience with Cisco switches
    • Understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 in a Global Infrastructure
    • Experience with IPsec VPN, SSL VPN remote access and AnyConnect Remote Access VPN


    Desired Skills:

    • Experience with Meraki Firewalls, Switches and Access Points
    • Experience with Juniper Firewalls a plus



    • Cisco certification or commensurate experience desired
