What You Will Do

  • Product Strategy & Roadmap
  • Define and communicate a compelling product vision aligned with business objectives
  • Build and maintain product roadmaps; manage dependencies across teams and programs
  • Conduct market analysis and user research to inform strategic product decisions
  • Agile Product Delivery
  • Own and manage product backlogs, prioritizing epics, features, and stories
  • Drive PI planning, story refinement, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and stakeholder demos
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, data, QA, and design teams throughout the product lifecycle
  • Healthcare Claims Domain Expertise
  • Work with complex medical claims adjudication data including billing vs. rendering providers, pricing logic, accumulators, and claim edit validations
  • Engage domain SMEs and interpret payer-provider logic to inform product development
  • Technical & Data Platform Alignment
  • Partner with technical architects on applications leveraging AWS services: Lambda, S3, Athena, Glue, DynamoDB, RDS (Postgres), and MongoDB
  • Support near real-time data replication initiatives using Qlik Replicate
  • Use SQL to analyze data for validation, issue resolution, and decision support
  • Stakeholder & Workshop Facilitation
  • Run JAD (Joint Application Design) sessions and cross-functional workshops
  • Align business goals with technical delivery by maintaining clear communication channels with leadership and user groups

Skills and Experience You Will Need

Required

  • 10+ years of experience in medical claims, adjudication logic, and payer-provider workflows
  • Strong background in Product Management and Agile Product Ownership
  • Deep knowledge of AWS-based data services: Lambda, S3, Athena, Glue, DynamoDB, RDS (Postgres), MongoDB
  • Proficient in SQL and understanding of real-time data replication (Qlik Replicate)
  • Hands-on experience with Agile delivery frameworks, including SAFe and Scrum
  • Demonstrated success in PI Planning, roadmap management, and program execution
  • Strong facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills, including JAD sessions

Desired:

  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), SAFe PO/PM, or equivalent
  • Prior experience in product strategy or platform modernization in healthcare

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of remaining stationary at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift to 15 lbs., as needed
  • Must be able to work on-site (corporate/client offices), as needed (not applicable for 100% remote roles)
  • Occasionally required to bend, kneel, crouch, and reach overhead.
  • Hand-eye coordination necessary to operate computers and various pieces of office equipment. 
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, the ability to tolerate fluorescent lighting, and the ability to adjust focus.
