What You Will Do

  • Be accountable for driving production incidents to resolution, by analyzing and coordinating with the required parties and always acting as the owner and leader of the situation.
  • Work outside regular business hour shifts.
  • Discuss technical issues with business analysts and developers.
  • Build and optimize environmental tools like Dynatrace, Splunk and Database queries to SQL and DB2 databases.
  • Analyze Network issues, understand the flows and dependencies, and discuss it with the Network engineers.
  • Install, configure and maintain Azure based cloud environments.
  • Perform Root Cause Analysis.
  • Participate in application performance testing and troubleshooting across whole software and hardware stack.
  • Perform technical evaluation of the defects.
  • Understand the impact of changes across the application.
  • Operate effectively, and with a sense of urgency to meet deadlines and escalate issues effectively.
  • Discuss aspects of the design with architects, team leads and business analysts to check understanding and raise concerns.

Skills and Experience You Will Need

Required:

  • At least 3+ years working with cloud-based architectures Azure, AWS, TKGI.
  • At least 5+ years supporting Windows based environments. (Microsoft Server 2012 & higher) & Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS).
  • Work outside regular business hour shifts.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, leading meetings and troubleshooting sessions.

Desired:

  • Certified Azure Administrator AZ-104 or Azure Fundamentals.
  • Previous experience using Dynatrace, Splunk, Grafana or similar monitoring tools.
  • Fintech market experience.
  • Automation and scripting proficiency (SQL Optimization, scheduled jobs, Splunk, Ansible, Harness)
  • Ability to multi-task demonstrating flexibility to easily adapt to changing business priorities.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery) process.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related fields.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of remaining stationary at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift to 15 lbs., as needed
  • Must be able to work on-site (corporate/client offices), as needed (not applicable for 100% remote roles)
  • Occasionally required to bend, kneel, crouch, and reach overhead.
  • Hand-eye coordination necessary to operate computers and various pieces of office equipment. 
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, the ability to tolerate fluorescent lighting, and the ability to adjust focus.
