What You Will Do

  • Create BDD test features & scenarios using Behave BDD frameworks to validate the Business flow for the assigned User stories each sprint
  • Implement Step Definitions in Python for each test steps defined in the BDD feature
  • Enhance the Python Test Automation framework for reusability & easy maintenance
  • Execute the developed In-sprint Automation features and report the results to Team

Skills and Experience You Will Need

Required:

  • 3 years of relevant automation experience in Python based automation framework, experience in developing BDD test features
  • Strong background and at least 3+ years of working in tooling or QA automation for: UI, webservices, databases, APIs and Event Driven Services
  • Working experience in Python Behave BDD Framework
  • Working experience in Selenium Framework
  • Variety of testing experience: unit, black box, white box, regression, etc.
  • Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Delivery
  • Experience in AWS services likes Lambda, Event Bridge, S3, Glue
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

** Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on actual job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of remaining stationary at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift to 15 lbs., as needed
  • Must be able to work on-site (corporate/client offices), as needed (not applicable for 100% remote roles)
  • Occasionally required to bend, kneel, crouch, and reach overhead.
  • Hand-eye coordination necessary to operate computers and various pieces of office equipment. 
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, the ability to tolerate fluorescent lighting, and the ability to adjust focus.
