What You Will Do

  • Provide expertise and ownership of Azure software development tasks within the scrum team. Interact effectively with clients and leadership,
  • Adapt communication for the appropriate audience.
  • Read and comprehend software requirements, assisting with development of agile user stores and tasks.
  • Assist with troubleshooting software application and configuration issues
  • Assist with Azure application deployments, testing, configuration, and installation.
  • Assist with performance tuning
  • Ensure security is a priority and understand the various areas where security vulnerabilities arise Ensure application resiliency, and disaster recovery
  • Create detailed documentation for the application.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing within the team for effective collaboration.

Skills and Experience You Will Need

Required:

  • 5+ years proven experience as a .Net application developer developing and deploying APls, websites, and related software into the Azure cloud
  • Full stack capability
  • Strong and current familiarity with Azure platforms and services, including Azure App Services, Azure API Management, Key Vault, Azure Monitor, Azure Application Insights, Azure SOL, etc.
  • Expertise with Visual Studio, C#, Python, Docker, JSON, REST Services, OIDC, SAML, HTML frameworks such as Angular or React, and similar Azure development technologies.
  • Strong understanding of security best practices for Azure deployments, including code scanning, access controls, 1AM, and data encryption.
  • Experience with Cl/CD pipelines and deployment automation using tools like Azure
  • DevOps Experience with Agile methodologies, Scrum Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
  • Strong teamwork and communication

Desired:

  • Familiarity and hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (laC) tools such as Terraform
  • Awareness of FedRAMP, FISMA, and/or Zero Trust Architecture strongly desired.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of remaining stationary at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift to 15 lbs., as needed
  • Must be able to work on-site (corporate/client offices), as needed (not applicable for 100% remote roles)
  • Occasionally required to bend, kneel, crouch, and reach overhead.
  • Hand-eye coordination necessary to operate computers and various pieces of office equipment. 
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, the ability to tolerate fluorescent lighting, and the ability to adjust focus.
