What You Will Do

  • Conduct comprehensive analysis of existing applications (C#, VB.NET, ASP, SQL, Angular) to understand functionality, business logic, and data flow.
  • Document current application architecture, including modules, components, and dependencies.
  • Identify and document integrations or touchpoints with other systems or applications, outlining data exchanges and integration methods.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to gather requirements and understand business needs.
  • Provide recommendations for improving system efficiency, performance, and scalability based on analysis findings.
  • Create detailed technical documentation, including system diagrams, flowcharts, and integration maps.
  • Work closely with development teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and ensure alignment with architectural guidelines.
  • Conduct impact analysis for proposed changes or enhancements to ensure minimal disruption to existing systems.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies to propose innovative solutions.

Skills and Experience You Will Need

Required:

  • Must have worked in healthcare industry
  • Proven experience (5+ years) as a Systems Analyst or similar role, with a focus on analyzing C#, VB.NET and ASP applications.
  • Strong proficiency in C#, VB.NET and ASP programming languages.
  • In-depth knowledge of system analysis techniques, including requirements gathering, process modeling, and data mapping.
  • Experience with relational databases (SQL Server preferred) and proficiency in writing SQL queries.
  • Ability to create technical documentation and diagrams using tools like Visio or Lucidchart.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement and learning
  • Able to perform gap analysis of code
  • Able to perform reverse engineering of code

Desired:

  • Certifications such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or PMI-PBA (Professional in Business Analysis)
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA) for project management and software development.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of remaining stationary at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift to 15 lbs., as needed
  • Must be able to work on-site (corporate/client offices), as needed (not applicable for 100% remote roles)
  • Occasionally required to bend, kneel, crouch, and reach overhead.
  • Hand-eye coordination necessary to operate computers and various pieces of office equipment.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, the ability to tolerate fluorescent lighting, and the ability to adjust focus.
