What You Will Do

  • Be a technical team member with subject matter expertise in multiple areas including:  network communications, Voice and multiple areas of telephony, carrier services and specifically for trade floor voice systems
  • Assist in troubleshooting/remediation efforts within the Voice environment.
  • Perform M/A/C work on Cisco CUCM and IPC trader voice systems.
  • Assist in trade overall front office and trade floor support.
  • Assist in trade overall front office and trade floor workspace support the job.

Skills and Experience You Will Need

Required:

  • 3 - 5 years of experience in support of trade floor voice solutions and 5 years in a network communication environment.
  • Position requires a solid understanding and knowledge of IPC Unigy, Voice Trading Infrastructure and SIP and legacy carrier services.
  • Knowledge of MAC work on IPC trader voice systems, Voice recording systems, Movius Mobile phone recording application, Cisco CUCM and SIP & TDM Carrier services.
  • Financial services experience with trader voice, specifically IPC Unigy turret systems and Carrier Services is required.
  • Experience with management and support of IPC turrets (with IPC Qualifications).
  • Understands the challenges in configuration and ongoing management of a global on-net dialing plan in a CUCM environment and IPC systems.
  • Has carrier/circuit experience. Has a solid technical understanding of traditional PRI trunks, SIP trunks, PLAR, Hoot & Holler, and other traditional voice circuit types.
  • Solid understanding of network protocols, QoS, and other VOIP related network components.
  • Experience working with carriers, hardware vendors, with raising quotes and Task Orders.
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education:

  • Need to have passed advanced IPC Admin qualifications.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of remaining stationary at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift to 15 lbs., as needed
  • Must be able to work on-site (corporate/client offices), as needed (not applicable for 100% remote roles)
