What You Will Do

  • The Sr. Scrum Master oversees broad scope company priorities and manages medium to large enterprise-level initiatives that have department or enterprise-level importance, moderate to high risk interdependencies, several interrelationships, and moderate to high costs associated with delivery. The Sr. Scrum Master supports Epics/Features of major complexity, as part of a program team in support of higher level program managers. This role has the primary responsibility to ensure Product Owners and Delivery teams have everything they need to achieve their project objectives.
  • Organizes and leads the agile team through the entire delivery life cycle
  • Conducts estimate sessions with stakeholders to drive estimates and challenges estimates where appropriate to ensure accurate effort estimates by functional areas
  • Manages delivery execution, resource deployment and overall coordination efforts to ensure features are completed on schedule and to budget
  • Creates and manages the artifacts required for governance approval for medium to large-scale initiatives
  • Serves as the core member of the Scrum team, responsible for all Scrum ceremonies and artifacts; facilitates the reviews and planning sessions
  • Monitors the progress of sprints; helps remove impediments that hinders progress
    Establishes and actively manages all key stakeholder expectations and relationships
  • Manages deliverables from all functional teams ensuring they meet the defined timeline and quality
  • Collaborates with resource managers to acquire the resources necessary to implement user stories on time and within budget
  • Coaches and mentors team members
  • Additional duties as assigned by Release Train Engineer

Skills and Experience You Will Need

  • Good understanding of the following technologies:
    • API - MuleSoft
    • Workflows
    • ETL - Informatica
  • Team Leadership – Experienced in assessing how the team is doing and driving necessary actions to improve
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills, with the ability to coach and mentor all team roles on a Scrum team
  • Strong team player with the ability to manage others through teamwork and relationship building skills
  • Great Technical skills and should be able to manage and lead minimum of two scrum teams
  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience in the scrum master role

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of remaining stationary at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift to 15 lbs., as needed
  • Must be able to work on-site (corporate/client offices), as needed (not applicable for 100% remote roles)
  • Occasionally required to bend, kneel, crouch, and reach overhead.
  • Hand-eye coordination necessary to operate computers and various pieces of office equipment.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, the ability to tolerate fluorescent lighting, and the ability to adjust focus.
